Due to record crowds last year, the 2008 Colorado Dragon Boat Festival is relocating to the east side of Sloan's Lake (corner of Stuart and 23rd Ave., near the boathouse). There is FREE Parking again this year at INVESCO Field (Lots I, F, G or J) with FREE air-conditioned shuttle service to and from INVESCO to Sloan's Lake every 15 minutes. Shuttle departs from Lot "H" at INVESCO. In keeping with the Festival's "Greening the Dragon" initiative, FREE air-conditioned shuttle service will also be provided to and from the Light Rail Station at INVESCO every 15 minutes.
The Shuttle bus service between INVESCO Field, Light Rail, and Sloan's Lake Park runs both days of the Festival, July 26 & 27, from 7:00am to 8:30pm.
INVESCO Field at Mile High is located in downtown Denver at the intersection of 1-25 and Colfax Avenue. To access INVESCO Field from I-25:
- Exit at Colfax Avenue westbound
- Turn right onto Federal Blvd. northbound
- Turn right at the first light onto Dick Connor Ave.
- Follow signs to parking lots I, F, G or J
