​Hālau Kalama is a Polynesian cultural organization in Aurora, Colorado. They are a non-profit organization with a mission to educate and promote the art of Polynesian music, language and dance to all.  Together, members of Hālau Kalama collaborate and strive to entertain as well as enlighten all communities who wish to experience the “Aloha Spirit.” 

MUDRA DANCE

MUDRA Dance is an Indian dance studio that ranges from classical Kathak, to contemporary "Mudra style". Our students range from age 4-65. And we love performing!

Part of MUDRA’s mission is to enable any person; without any discrimination of caste, creed, color, race, religion, nationality, economic, orientation, educational and social status; to learn the classical, contemporary and folk dances and performing arts of India and participate freely and fully without any reservations in the celebrations of life and diversity through the universal language of dance and music.

BELLA DIVA

Denver's premier International and Intercultural dance school and performance group where dancers learn to become global citizens through the exploration and celebration of world dance movement.

TEHANI’S HULA COLORADO

Tehani's Hula Colorado is an exceptional place to learn Polynesian dancing and culture. Our school was established in 2018 after decades of dancing professionally all over the United States and Canada. After finally settling in Colorado, our founder, Kainoa, desired to start teaching and educating people of the dance and Polynesian culture. Dancers are now directed by a Kainoa and her daughter Noelani. This duo strives to produce unique and elegant stylings of dance from the Islands of Hawai'i, Samoa, and Tahiti. Our style remains true to tradition with a modern twist. We strive for excellence in choreography and performance. Tehani's Hula Colorado welcomes all ages, walks of life, and experience levels. We look forward to dancing with you! Mahalo!”

THE ACE OF SPADES (AOS)

Ace of Spades (AOS) is a sub-unit of Royals and a Colorado-based dance team. As a sub-unit named AOS, Dragon Boat Regatta will be their debut performance which consists of two dancers with different dance styles such as Kpop, Vpop, hip-hop, and contemporary. They are one of the well-known dance teams that showcases at Far East Center, Asian Avenue Magazine, Colorado Dragon Boat, KonnectPop, Asian Girls Ignite, Cherry Blossom Festival, Global Fest, Havana Night Market, elementary/middle/high school cultural shows, university shows, and other AANHPI/BIPOC community events. At the Dragon Boat Regatta, they will be showcasing Chaconne by Enhypen, Mộng Yu choreographed by Judy Tran, and New Women by Rosalía featuring Lisa, also with a bit of Judy's choreography. SRI B

Sri Bangaru is passionate about performing and bringing joy to others through music. She has a B.A. from Willamette University. 

​Sri has extensive training in American classical music, musical theatre, and contemporary pop/rock, as well as some background with Indian classical music. Her favorite genres to sing are pop and rock covers from the 80s to now.

She has won numerous talent shows, including The Children’s Hospital Talent Competition, National Vasavite’s Got Talent Competition, NRIVA’s Colorado State Talent Show Competition, and the Legend Makers Singing Competition. She’s been a featured artist with nationally known DJ Prashant. Through performing, Sri wants to uplift, empower and support her community and other minority communities as well.

​One of Sri’s dreams is to create an ensemble that is entirely composed of AAPI/BIPOC musicians and to perform at AAPI/BIPOC events to empower, uplift and support these communities.
